A Message from the Family

Your kind words and warm support have helped sustain us since we lost Ryan in April 2011.

Our focus since Ryan’s death has been on celebrating his amazing life. Ryan’s communities and our friends refuse to let him fade from view, because he had such an impact on their lives, as well as ours.

Because we received an overwhelming number of requests to make a donation in Ryan’s name, his brother Christopher created the Ryan E. Bishop Outdoor Leadership Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. This fund is designed to keep Ryan’s legacy alive through the granting of awards and scholarships that reflect his passion for the outdoors. Christopher continues to honor his brother’s memory by carrying on Ryan’s love for the outdoors through his own adventures with his wonderful friends.

We believe the unconditional love and respect Ryan shared with his family, friends and nature will live on through this fund and others that have been created. We invite you to support Ryan’s legacy in some way. Your support will make a difference in the lives of others, just as Ryan did.
